At FitCapture, your privacy is a core part of how we design our products. We collect and use only the information we need to provide the virtual try-on experience, and we work to keep your personal photos and data private and secure.

How We Handle Your Photos

Virtual try-on processing

When you use FitCapture to generate a virtual try-on (for example, by clicking “Try it on” in the browser extension or on our website), we securely send:

• The clothing image you selected, and
• The person photo you provided,

to our servers and to trusted third-party AI processing providers. They use these images only to generate your virtual try-on result and to help us operate and protect the service (for example, to prevent abuse or troubleshoot issues).

Limited retention

We do not keep your photos longer than necessary to:

• Generate your try-on result, and
• Maintain the reliability and security of our systems.

We do not use your photos to train our own general-purpose AI models, and we do not sell your photos to third parties.

Saved photos in your browser

If you choose to save preset person photos in the FitCapture browser extension, those copies are stored in your browser’s local storage on that device. You can remove them at any time from the extension settings. When you use a saved photo to generate a try-on, that photo is processed in the same way as any other person photo described above.

Training and third parties

FitCapture does not use your personal photos or generated images to train separate advertising, profiling, or unrelated machine-learning models. We work with third-party service providers that process images on our behalf under agreements that require them to protect your data and use it only to provide services for FitCapture.

Information We Collect

We collect the minimum information necessary to run FitCapture and manage your account, including:

• Account information – such as your email address and password (stored securely) so you can create and manage your account, and so we can apply credits and subscriptions.
• Payment information – payment details are processed securely by our payment processors; we do not store full card numbers on our own servers.
• Usage information – such as how many try-ons you generate, selected quality levels, and basic timestamps, so we can apply credits, prevent abuse, and improve the product.
• Device and technical information – such as browser type, operating system, and basic diagnostic logs, to keep the service reliable and secure.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide the virtual try-on services you request.
• Authenticate you and manage your account, subscriptions, and credits.
• Operate, protect, and improve the FitCapture website, backend, and browser extension.
• Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security issues.
• Communicate with you about your account, usage, and important service updates.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We share your information only with:

• Service providers who host our infrastructure, process payments, provide analytics, or perform AI processing to generate your try-on images. These providers are only allowed to use your information to perform services for FitCapture and must protect it appropriately.
• Legal and safety partners when we believe it is necessary to comply with the law, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and service.

Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to help protect your account information and other personal data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and ongoing security reviews. No system can be guaranteed 100% secure, but we work continually to reduce risk and respond quickly to potential issues.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate account information.
• Delete your account and associated personal information (subject to limited legal or operational retention requirements).
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format.
